Whenever I take off quick or there is a sudden change in speed increase/decrease I hear a click in the front left area of my car. This is driving me crazy...what is it? I've already had my cvboots and joints checked by the dealer and they said nothing is wrong with them. What else could it be?

It could be broken studs. I had the same problem, it only clicked when I slowed down though. It was about 125.00 to have it fixed.

What and where is a broken stud? Never heard of it.

The studs are the bolts that hold your wheel to the car. The five studs, come on now, lol.

You should be able to install new ones yourself...I havent had time to try it when mine broke but I was looking at my chiltons and it looked really easy...Try the www.VFAQ.com to see what they have...look up the brake kits, cause usuall when you install the brake kits you have to mess around with the studs..if I remember correctly.

I found out that the clicking is actually my lower ball joint, it has too much play. I'm getting it replaced on friday...ha ha still under warranty for a few more miles.
