it's a cheap alternative to buying a rear camber 'kit'. to adjust the rear camber on our cars essentially all you need to do is space the upper control arm a little farther out from the body of the car. this is done by swapping in some longer bolts and inserting some washers between the arm and the mounting point on the car. there's a lot of info and writeups if you search...

You may need to put more than 4 washers though, ie I put 6 washers and haven't had any problems.
