Read this article from a SCC monthly magazine from a couple months ago...its from there project 300zx
It makes a reference to roll center and how that going too low can actually hurt your handling performance
I always thought it was a great article

sure even lowering 1 inch completely throws off the suspension geometry

i hate wheel hop....my favorite line from that article was..."The compliance of the rear suspension's numerous bushings are so great the suspension hops like a horny bunny on Viagra when stock"

Personally I thought the whole article was awesome...with my next car I will be more causious of how low I go
