23843, RRE Front Lower Tie bar Install ? Posted by Clay, May-12-04 09:08 PM

The instructions mentioned to bolt up the tie bar between the "stiffener plate" and crossmember. The stiffener plate on the passenger side was no where near the crossmember so I bolted the tie bar to the crossmember and followed instructions for the driver side. The tie bar looked really short btw.
I bought the NT version. Did I install it correctly?

if you installed the same way in that paint picture you got there looks like you installed it correctly. Don't know why there's a drive shaft there though. Mine just has an exhuast hehe. haha I had to drop it down with washers and a longer bolt since my exhuast is so huge :P haha and I thought it hung way too low b4 now low enough.

Yeah I think they might have accidently gave you the GSX instructions. :P The angle should be right below the downpipe.
I had to remove mine as it was scraping all over the place. Damn Texans and their trucks. :P
