this blows. how do I get the other half of the lug nut off now? Its on the same wheel.

You can JB weld a socket onto it, or get one of those stripped nut remover things, or drill the stud out.

I couldn't get JBweld to hold welll enough and just broke off again when I applied enough torque. Probably due to the fact that it took too long to cure and I needed a solution right then and there.

You can hose it w/ PB Blaster, since it's probably the rust that's keeping it locked on. Then wait at least 10 minutes, and hammer a slightly oversized socket over it and hit it w/ an impact wrench if you have one, or use a breaker bar.

I just noticed I wrote use a slightly oversized socket above ^, I ment undersized.
