23371, AEM big brake kit Posted by BigPerm, Apr-07-04 04:26 AM
I know the Turbo Eclipse has its own big brake kit make by AEM. But will the non-turbo AEM big brake kit fit on the Turbo?

As long as they are both FWD and have big enough wheels I don't see why they wouldn't.

Reason I ask is because the Turbo kit doesn't fit on the non-turbo.

RS/GS/GST have the same brakes up front. the GSX has bigger calipers and rotors up front. the distinction is not between turbo and non-turbo but rather between FWD and AWD.
the GSX kit DOES fit on the non-turbo cars. i have it on my RS. you just need to swap in GSX calipers.
*edit* on a side note, if you're looking to upgrade brakes just get some GSX calipers and order some rotors from raceconcepts.net (2gnt discount). they'll get you some plain, slotted, x-drilled, or dimpled rotors for like $90. AEM kit isn't really worth it. not the $300 for what's basically just oversized rotors. if you want a full on big brake kit save up for a stop-tech kit or something else which uses oversized rotors AND special calipers.
