I want to buy a lwoer tie bar and jsut wanted to know whats a good brand and how much does it actually help??

Tanabe makes and under brace for the front and rear on the 2g's. Here is a link: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/hopup1/tasuunbrmiec.html . I'm not sure how much the under braces help though. I was kinda wondering the same thing.

Can't tell you how much they actually help on our specific car (since I don't have one yet), but chassis stiffening is a good thing! :thumbsup

I have hurricane_gs lower front and rear bars and they helped more than uppers :thumbsup

Hey I was wondering about how thick is the tie bar that u got from hurricane_GS???

I went to Hurricane_GS's web site and he posted a message that he is no longer making the bars. Guess too many people were whining about how long it was taking to get their bars. Good things take time people... be patient. I wish he wouldn't have quit making them... he may still do it if you mail him or something and guarantee him that you won't whine ;)

shit, id definately wait without whining if it was a good priced, good quality piece. how do i get in contact with this guy?

it seems there is only 2 brands that are made for our cars...DC sports and the tanabe sustec..I wonder which is better???

obx makes one for cheap, look on ebay

then of course there is always the no name ebay bar for like $28. not to jack the thread or anything, but i have a noob question... can a rear sway bar and lower tie bar be on the car at the same time... just a question. thanks.

hey everyone, just wanted to say sorry for being an ass and not searching for another 5 seconds like i should have. i found the answer.

don't even bother contacting hurricane_gs. He is a very poor business man and seems to have ripped off many members on this board. I purchased his tie bars, and honestly, was not impressed at all with the quality of them. Not to mention mine look like a 4 year old put them together. Good things take time...yes. However, when you take alot of peoples money promising to get them their stuff ASAP, and yield no results at all for well over a year (coming up on two i believe) that is just a tad bit too much IMO.

Damn! I didn't know the story I guess. I had just read some things about his tie bars on the net. Guess he's not all he's cracked up to be.
