2281, Need spring compressor to INSTALL Prokits

Alright, I was able to REMOVE the stock spring without a spring compressor but to get it back on I needed the compressor.

So I guess my question is, how much shorter are the Prokits compared to the stock springs? Will the top of the spring sit below the threaded part of the rod in the strut? (So I can get the bolt on)

you shouldn't need it but i don't have the prokits. i got tenzo R's with a 2" drop and didn't need one. it will probabley be really close but if you do you can borrow one for autozone. you give 'em a deposit and they give it back when you return it.

Dude, you don't need spring compressors at all for the Pro Kits.....easy as cake. They go on perfectly.

I didn't need a compressor for the Pro-kit install. All you have to do is push them down by hand and put the nut on. Easy as pie.
