The symptoms of mine going out was a horrible screeching noise. Whenever I turned the wheel it was like the end of the world, but it would also squeek on every little bumb in the road. I looked at my ball joints and couldn't visibly tell that they were bad. However, when I went to Satan they replaced them as well as the whole arm and no more noise. Not only that, but my steering was twice as responsive as before they were replaced. Don't worry about fixing them yourself...just go to Satan and say you want the recall fixed and they should replace both arms without question. I love free stuff!!
