So I just finished up the putting rear disks on my RS, well actually I put the whole hub assembly on so it was a lil easier. The Ebrake cable was the hardest thing about it, one problem was that my drivers side cable was a little longer than the passenger side (the part under the console) so that sorta canted the line. So I drive it and the brake pedal goes almost to the floor before I can get any pressure to stop. I bled the backs about 5x, but not the fronts. And when I try to build pressure on its own (w/o the car on) I can't get a solid pedal. So I'm thinking rebleed again the whole system...could it be something else? thanks

This may be a stupid question, but did you fill the reservoir up front while doing this?
Another thing it may be is faulty stock rubber brake lines. Replace those with SS ones.
Whenever you mess with brakes it takes them a little while to get the full friction back in the pedal. Even when you change your brake pads and you don't undo any hoses or anything. Have you tried backing it up a few feet and hitting the pedal, then going forward and doing that a few times? I think just sitting there won't do it for ya.

Well, comes to find out that I put the calipers on the wrong side..duh! The bleed screw should be facing up so that when you bleed the air will rise out of the calipers. I will change em out on Wed, so for now I'll have to pump the brakes a few time to build up some pressure..ghetto style
