21835, Coil Overs??? Posted by Nitrix, Jan-06-04 08:01 PM
I recently installed coil overs on my gs spyder, I figured the ride would be alittle rough, everytime i hit too big of a bump it hits really hard and sounds like it could break. Any suggestions on having a smoother ride? I was thinkng about cutting my stock springs and putting them back on, not too sure what to do. My car looks really good lowered and I would hate to have to lift it back up.
PLEASE HELP:bowdown

What kind of coilovers are they? Are they the fit over type Or true coilovers
Did you cut some of the bump stop?

They are from tommotorsports.com, they seem to be just the generic coil overs that you can find on eBay.
Yes i did cut half of the bump stop off, it still hits hard when i go over bumps

Make sure all bolts are tightened down correctly....nothing is loose......
Also when you buy ebay quality you get ebay quality....this equals CRAP
Good luck
