21755, Where are the bushings for front suspension? Posted by JUNJUN712, Dec-29-03 07:57 PM
I've been having this metal to metal banging together sound in the front right(pasenger side). This only happens when I have a passenger and when I'm turning left. When I'm driving by myself there is no sound at all. I have been to the mechanics(Firestone) and got my cv joint check and they told me it's perfectly fine. They suggested that one of my bushing is probably worn out. This sound started when I put the stuck suspension back(winter blues). Before this, I was lowered 2". The suspensions are all in good conditions. Thanks for any help:shrug !!!

Check the front sway bar endlinks as well as the bracket bushings against the frame for deterioration. Those will make noise in a turn. While you are down there check out the control arm bushings as well.

Have you had the lower lateral arm ball joint recall don yet? It's a good idea to do.
