2159, Maxspeed Coilovers on KYB AGX adjustables???? Posted by RoboTechDSM, May-08-01 06:44 AM
I'm planning to get the AGX before the end of this month guys. There are a few things that worried me though. Have you guys heard anything about front AGX shocks on 2G's being longer than stock? I've heard a lot of horror stories about bottoming out prematurely with these because these shocks were to long. Anyone have any experience with these on a 99 2G? How about the rear one's? Thanks in advance guys!!!!

its because they are too short i believe, not too long. they are shorter than stock which reduces the available suspension travel even more than it already would be with coilovers. the AGX do not play well with lowering, they are just a good stock replacement. go with koni yellows if you can afford them. if not i am going with tokico blues. they seem the be the next best thing besides the illuminas (i dont want adjustables without removeable perches)

I'm not really planning on slamming my car. Just a moderate 1 in. drop would suffice. I guess the AGX could work then huh???
