^^^^hey i am about to put in new rims (this afternoon), but do you need an alignment after a new rims are put on?

What size are the rims? Is the total diameter of the new rims including tires larger or smaller?
It doesn't hurt to do an alignment check, but probably not needed either way. You will definatley want to make sure the tires you get are balanced though (if they didn't come as a package pre-balanced).

thanks guys, i am gonna do the camber kit mod so i will get the alignment any way. my rear tires are unevenly bald because of my prokits. can't wait to take pics after the wash on thursday.

dude, seriously, they are beautiful.
its really hard to find rims that look good on a green car but i think i made the best decision. it looks soo mean having a dark green car, all gunmetal rims, dark tinted windows. my car is screaming for a cf hood and a gsx brake upgrade with drilled rotors.
they are excel f1 17 in rims. they weight at a massive 38lbs BUT my stock 16 in rims are also 38lbs so at least there is no performance loss (i used a bathroom scale to weight them).
