well, I know Energy Suspension makes a set for our car.

Has anyone changed ALL of there bushing to urithane?

How much of a differance can I expect? I should be buying them sometime this spring:cheers

I think someone on this board has. If I remember correctly they are a PITA to install as you need a press, but are well worth it. Thats why I have avoided them.

a friend of mine has a press. I guess I'll be the second to have changed all my bushings with urithan

i have the master set of urethane bushings from energy suspension... its a good upgrade, but a pita to install... i did it mainly due to one of my stock bushings giving out on me. and i believe there are about 1 or 2 others that have done the upgrade... i may have been among the first to do it.. or at least second actually..

do you reccommend it?? is it worth the time/ pita to install...etc.??

Well, I know that Armond has done urethane Bushings, as has Jason... I think I'm the only one around here with Prothane urethane bushings, though. I have about 3/4 of the ones in front installed.

energy suspension is in my home town, i have the master bushing set and i recommend it more than almost anything, get it if you are serious about keeping your car stuck to the ground. mated with some good springs/ways/shocks and braces, you'll handle like a beast.

its not that hard to install imo, then again...i have more tools than you.

i have always been under the impression that they are well worth the money.

i would say if you want a good handling car.. they are worth installing... and if you have the right tools, time, and patience you will have no problem getting them installed.. just be sure to grease them up good on the install, cause they creak a little after time and also when its cold.. no biggy though.. just reminds me that they are still there.. doing their job..

All depends on what you want to do. The reason those bushing are better is because they make your suspension move in the correct direction instead of bending out of phase.

If you guys say it feels like the car is stiffer that means they really do work.

Why don't you get some nice wheel/tire combo? Make your car look hella sexy and also make you handle better. Get that kit fixed or something imo :7 .

well, I'm not buying my beater this year. I'm not buying new wheels for a while, not till I need them. For now I'm probably going to get another set of stockers for drifting/autocrossing:P

I'm currently looking into a true coil-over system and then later on I'll get the bushings:thumbsup

bushings keep the wheels from tucking in on turns, so whoever said they dont do anything is retarded. adjusting the stiffness of the shocks doesnt necessarily mean you will handle better. a full suspension package consistes of sways, struts, BUSHINGS, etc etc etc. they make a huge difference, and im speaking from experience here.

energy suspension is about 2 feet from where i stand right now. call them up if you have doubts on their shit

I have the ES bushings and I think they were well worth the trouble. I had alrady changed shocks/springs, and added sway bars and strut bars. After all this I did the bushings and more then anything it just seemed to make all the components work that much better. Do it you will not regret it. :thumbsup

Must agree! Urethane bshings only help the handling of any vehicle installed in. Along with the complete suspension package of quality shocks/struts and wheel/tire combos and the strut tie bars etc... realistically anyone of those will get the job started in the right direction. One of the upgrades I am pursuing as well as power upgrades.

I have the full kit. Made it stiffer... and that's saying a lot after having my tokico's on stiffest.
