21412, suspension brake Q for a Avenger Posted by sracer, Dec-07-03 07:47 PM
I was wondering if the suspension on the 95/96 Avenger was the same as the 2gnt suspension. I really want to go with full coilovers so I was wondering if I could use the Tein Suspension from the Eclispe/Talon. After all the Avenger is based on the same chassis as those cars so it should fit right?
Also will Brakes from the Evo 8 fit to? I know the Evo and the DSM/Avengers share the same bolt pattern(5x4.5(114.3) but are the brake hub assm. the same?

yes on the suspension, its identical with the exception of spring rates might be a little different, its not a big difference, If your a v6 avenger Ive seen/heard problems with coilover springs collapsing but thats with cheap springs, the teins are awesome and would work just fine. I thought ASOG or ASEC had a group buy going on for the teins
I doubt it (without some modification) on the brakes
Look for the post on the gsx dual piston calipers/brakes.
