2115, RE: tire size for 17's Posted by Danny95ESI, May-17-01 02:20 AM Klipz is right, 215/45/17 are perfect on our lowered cars. I had 235/45/17 on my car for a while and it rubbed with every bump. The 235s hugged the road like a tank but it slowed my car down alot and gave me terrible MPGs. I then switched to 215/40/17 and i guess the lightened load made my car go faster. They did look goofy, cuz the whole set up look like i was rolling on some stock 14s doughnuts. Now I'm back to the 215/45. | |
