21082, Suspension mods...kinda long! Posted by eclipse98rsHRC, Nov-15-03 08:00 AM
I need some help from you suspension genuises: I just installed on my 98rs new KYB agx struts and the Eibach prokit springs. Thought before I got it aligned, I'd do the $15 camber mod (rear) and install a sway bar from a GST-using Mitsu parts. Went to get it aligned today and it is so far out (camber) that the 4 washers I installed should be more like 7 or 8! That is too much "bolt" exposed for my liking. I had to replace the lower arms to facilitate the sway bar-the mechanic at Firestone said they were longer than the stock rs ones. Any suggestions? I'd like to have a sway bar, but it doesn't have to be a stock one. Or is this common with lowering our cars? TIA

common thing, if you got the longer bolts with the 15$ camber mod youll be fine.
