does anybody know if the front suspension assembly, not the actual suspension, just the other parts..such as the lower control arm, upper control arm, any of the other stuff...is it the same from a GS/RS compared to a GSX? what are the differences if there are any.... no guesses please, only people that know for sure... money depends on it...thanks

I wouldn't count on them being the same. Why don't you just get parts specified for your car?

I agree with you on that just get vehicle specific on those type of parts:shrug

my girlfriend just bought a wrecked gsx...i know of a junkyard that i can get pretty good deals on and they have non turbo dsm's...sooooo, it would be much cheaper and easier if i could, just was wondering if they were the same....anybody?

I don't understand why it matters if your girl just got a GSX 'AND' the junk yard has parts for NT's. Unless your trying to say that you need this stuff for the GSX???

yeah...i need the parts for the gsx...im fixing the car for her.... i just wanted to know if i could use the NT suspension parts

no idea if they fit or not but i can tell u this the dealer will have no help either. i needed a slave cylinder for my NT and i knew about this crashed GSX. so i called the dealer and ask if they share the same slave cylinder, they said NO it would not fit. I bought the one from the GSX for 20 bucks and it fit with no problems what so ever.

Junkyards are so cheap, it pays to just grab whatever parts you can and see if they fit. If not, throw them away or sell em on dsmtrader.

Then do us a favor and post whether it worked or not. :)

somebody said that the gsx is beefier....im going to jack both cars up, mine and the gsx and see if i can tell a difference...if not, they are the same to me...ill let you know though

i found out today that they are the same...although there is differences in years...95-96 are different than 97-99...just thought id let everyone know

In case you're still looking, the lower control arm from the same year galant is exactly the same as the eclipse. I know because I had to swap. The only difference was mine was twisted back a few inches. But that was my fault }(
