i remember hearing something about these struts bottoming out on lowered cars? did they ever fix that? anyone have them with a big drop? thanks

i have them and i bottem out on big bumps..im lowered 2.5 in the front and 3 in the rear..i hate them i want to get rid of them..

The front shocks were one inch too long which effectively removed an inch from suspension travel. Supposedly they fixed this problem a couple years ago. You may still get an old batch however and wind up with the long ones. I don't know if there's any way to tell them apart?

With my luck, I was afraid I'd get old ones so I bought Illuminas for my front shocks instead.

BTW, it's gonna be pretty tough not bottoming out when you're lowered 2.5" :P

i wouldn't recommend them....i have them and i hate them. if i could do it again, i'd get tokicos

thats soo disappointing to hear this about the agx's i was looking for to gettin them. is it just that the rides ruff? i guess i was just lookin for a little more description on what you guys don't like about them.

the ride in my car sucks, bottom line. i feel and hear every god damn thing in my car....and i hate it!!!!!

i have tokico illuminas and i feel and hear every thing too... and on big bumps it makes a LOUD bang noise, this noise almost always only accurs on the right front and i noticed my upper a-arm ( i guess thats what its called...) is hitting my strut tower or w/e and it is shaving metal off the a-arm or w/e its called... but i think mine rides like ass b/c i have ractive coilovers and not lowering springs... and they are lowered as far as they can go.

mine sounds like it's doing the same thing
