Hi all,

There are always some strange sounds coming from the rotor..... it is like.... "it it it it " sounds when I put on the brake... But, it is just obvious when I just start my car or especially in the morning......

Anything wrong with rotor or brake... or actually it happens to all you guys .............

Are you sure its not your warning tab on your brakes?

It could just be the pads starting to wear. One thing you might do is slowly drive in reverse. You may have a small stone sitting on top of your caliper. As you drive, it could be bouncing off the disc. I actually had something like this happen to me this morning. I did the back up trick and whatever it was went away. If not, Mida will check your brakes for free. :P

so, there may be a chance that it is the warning tab.....
but, I am not sure.. becoz it only happens in the morning... or when I first started the car on the day.....

Have you ever braked from 100mph?

Takes about 10 seconds of hard braking at 100mph to warp our stock rotors. Braking hard at above 120 is guaranteed to warp them.

NO.... it is just ordinary brake disk.....

I have a similar problem in the morning and when going over 70-75mph (seperate post in Handling section). Sounds like the warning pad rubbing against the rotor, but I had thought that happened when you applied the brakes. My squeak goes away when I hit the brakes :shrug . Guess we should both head over to Midas for that free brake inspection :D

Our stock rotors suck ass im so sick of them i could cry. I replaced mine about 6months ago they worked good for about five minutes after i broke them in. Warped screetch the whole nine yards.
