I tried the search function on this with all kinds of different variations and nothing came up


But I ordered the Stillen Sway Bar set and it will be in probably Tuesday or Wednesday.....anyways....I am worried about the front thats all......is it easy or not....anything have to be taken off before I can get to it.....helpful hints are greatly appreciated....again I dont need to know about the rear...thats simple

its a pretty simple install. All you have to do is remove the bolts that hold the strut towers in place, put the bar on, and tighten the bolts back. Make SURE you tighten them to spec..or as tight as you possibly can

that's for a strut tower bar. he's looking for how to install a sway bar. look in the chilton's manual, there's probably inscructions in there of how to replace a sway bar, it will probably look like something like "stabalizer bar installation and removal"

I dont have a Chiltons....if I did I wouldnt of asked the question....so does anyone know if it is a easy process???

yes I've done it I installed a TSi 19mm sway bar on my car b4 and its a bitch way harder than the rear. You gotta take the exhuast pipe off, just the down pipe I believe. I think you gotta take off the wheels also. Then Unbolt the old one and fish it out and somehow get the new bar in there. Its a pain in the ass trying to get the bolts to line up too, i think I stripped one of mine. Helps if you have a lift.

I wouldn't even install the front more understeer :P

Well I was defently going to do the rear of course....but is the understeer that bad enough just for daily driving...i dont think it could be....i totally understand if I was autocrossing or track racing....I would just take the whole front sway bar off completely....but I will try the front also and if I find I dont like it I will just put the stock one back in.....but hey for 175.00 for a pair from Stillen that is a freakin steal....everyone else has them for 300 bucks or close to it for a pair

haha ask nackers how big of a pain in the ass it was to install his front sway bar at the chicago meet... he started in the morning and it took him all night. If your bolts are rusted get a dremel, and make sure u get brackets and bushing to match the sway bar.. just make sure u have everything before you start and make sure it will all fit together. it's a pretty straight forward install once you get down there and see what is connected.

The front is a little tricky and takes some maneuvering to get into place. All i removed were the tires and the frame gussets. Took me 2 1/2 hours for both front and rear. That included cutting off all the end link studs.

Hades likes to drift....more understeer = better drifting. Currently our cars oversteer like a mother.

That is for damn sure.....thats why I figured the front bar would help out with getting rid of alittle of the oversteer
