Turbo springs Vs RS springs...is there a difference? im wondering because i have an RS with the 10th aniversary OZ wheels...car looks kinda high...if the GS-T springs will lower the car a little, id just get those. thanks for any help!

RS GS GST suspensions are identical
GSX is a tad different (I think)

yeah the gst and the rs have the same springs but the gsx has different back springs i think
stage 4 clutch, aluminum flywheel, solid motor mounts, Phantom grip, phantom boost, egt, a/f, oil psi, apexi TT, Jeep TB, Star stage 2 with custom 3 inch downpipe out passenger side bumper, custom ground kit, falcon azenis, 2 inch drop, eibach camber kit, crank scrapper,AEM cam gear, short shifter, AFX UDP and some other stuff

i guess u mean stock springs and not after market right.....either way the gs-t weights more than the rs or gs does so the spring rates should be different.......the gs-t springs should be stiffer too acomadate for the added weight......meaning that if u put gs-t springs on your rs your car would either sit at the same height or accutally raise it up some.......now if it was the other way around meaning u put rs springs on a gs-t.....the gs-t should sit lower because the rs springs are made to handle less weight than the gs-t....the added weight would push down on the springs more lowering it more.......im just about positive that the gs-t springs wouldn't lower the car at all.....mostlikely raise it up some....i have proof too......i have 18 inch wheels on my car and sportlines for the gs-t/gsx.....i still have 2 fingers worth of gap between my tire and fender......and we all know that the sportlines for the rs/gs wouldn't have that much gap in them......i didn't want to be slammed because the roads around here suck....i just wanted to get rid of the gap a little.....my theory was correct......oh......i have an rs........

FWD springs are the same. AWD is different, also Spyders have the AWD springs as well.

Uhm, Research bro. There are 2 types of springs made by each manufacturer. FWD and AWD. All FWD aplications (RS, GS, GST) are the same damn thing. The AWD or GSX springs are different because they have different springs in the rear. Hell they have an entirely different suspension in the rear. Completely non-interchangeable.

GST's look lower than RS's because they have the same spring rate as the RS but they weight more. They also have side skirts and larger wheels. But there is no discernable difference between the stock springs on any FWD Eclipse out there.

Nah bro, AWD springs wouldn't sit in your perches. You think 2 fingers is a lot? BWAHAHAHAHAHA....lemme post a pic of me with my whole fist between my tire and wheel well, then we'll talk ;)

im not saying that 2 fingers is alot.....im just sayin my car sits higher with the eibach sportline springs for the turbo model.....than the eibach sportlines for the rs/gs doo.......if i had rs/gs sportlines then i would barely have any gap at all.....if your right about the AWD springs not sittin in the perches then i do have gs-t springs.......this is where someone that has sportlines made for a rs/gs on there eclipse rs/gs posts a pic......i promise it will be lower.....too me it just wouldn't make since to put the exact same springs off a rs/gs on too a gs-t or gsx because of the weight difference.......that would mean that the gs-t/gsx would suck in corners and sway like a mofo.....and if its supposed to be an upgraded model u would think it would handle better and have beefer springs right???? ill find some visual proof for ya......

ill admit when im wrong.....i did some talkin to some peeps.....we talked about the weight difference in the two models.....yeah the gs-t weights more than the rs/gs but.....if u break up the weight difference into 4's and look at it like that then the difference would be minimal because u would distribute the extra weight over all 4 springs.....meaning that the extra weight doesn't sit on just one spring.....its sits on all......so the rates wouldn't have to be changed that much if at all......that would explain the lower look of the gs-t......i still think my car should of came down 1/4 to 1/2 an inch more in the front than it did but hey....u figure that out......
