I broke one of the posts that holds the lug nut today on my back tire. I am assuming that you just hit the other one out with a hammer and then put a new one in. I wanted to confirm this though.

Do you mean you broke a "stud"? If so, yes, take off the caliper and rotor and hammer the stud out.

dave make sure you replace all 5 when you do it. they are only like a buck each..... then use an air gun to pull them in... it shouldn;t take more than an hour or so to change them out...

I pressed them out while the hub was still attached to the car using a large c-clamp and a socket.
