I need new tires for the winter months to put on the stock 16" rims but I do not want a tire that is strickly for winter. I prefer an all season tire as I don't use my good rims until April/May and take them off around October/November. I also don't want to spend a fortune on tires since the car is lowered and set up for my 18" wheels and the winter tires will get beat up with the negative camber. However, I don't want to go super cheap either as I don't want to risk blowing a tire and damaging my fiberglass front end.

I was looking at the Continental Extreme Contact Tire at the link below from tire rack. It may not be the best price but I was just using their site for information. I would like to stay around $70 a tire.

The BFGoodrich KDWS is a great tire for the winter months. They are a little more than your wanting to spend at $94 but thought i would mention them anyways.

I have Nankang 225/50/16 all season tires on my stock rims. I think i paid 73 a tire for them and they are v rated and perform very well in wet and dry conditions. I havnt driving in the snow with them yet so im not sure how they will handle then.

Bridgestone Blizzak. Thats what I have and they're awesome
