How do you do it? I see the caliper, but i cant see much behind it. I get this funny grinding noise in the front passenger. i searched a while and i think its the pads. its been A WHILE since theyve been replaced and for some reason my front pass is the wheel that gets the dirtiest after driving for a while. i'll take the wheel off if its a must, but i dont want to if its not necessary

Yeah take the wheel off:rolleyes Then you can take off one of the caliper guide bolts that hold the upper piece with the pads onto the main caliper. Once that is off loosen the other one and you should be able to tilt it up so you can see the surface of the pads.

Or just take both bolts off..
