ok heres the deal im in the market for suspension now but im scared shit of driving around lowered in nyc ... what set up would u recommend ? also if i do go coilover ... what is the life of these things in contrast to shocks? how often do they need to be changed ? with springs whats the minimum drop i can get away with ... any help would be appreciated ...

TOKICO HAS A PACKAGE ON MACHV BOTH THE SHOCKS AND THE SPRINGS 1.5 DROP FOR 399.... NOW DO U GUYS THINK I WILL NEED NEW PIPING IN THE BACK FOR MY N1 EXAUST? I DONT WANT HER TO GET HURT !!~!!

I stand by H&R Race Springs for the best all around drop on springs, its low and real aggressive, but still yet able to drive around town, barely....:thumbsup

ok im ordering the tokico shock spring setup .... 1.5" do i need a camber kit?

I believe anytime you lower your car you want to get a camber kit. I lowered my G/F car and it has a lot of camber now, but I kinda like the look and it handles great. We will get one, but before we get an alighnment. It pulls to the left a bit:( , but that is expected.

my car dropped 2 with coil overs and tokicos and my camber is near perfect without a kit. i would recomend getting a toe in/out alignment though.

Yes you need a camber kit and yes you need alignment immediately. Wait and see how long your tires last even slightly out of camber spec

get an aligment after the install and get your camber reading. then decide tfrom there if it is worth getting a kit. Steve had that same setup and his didn't drop the 1.5 as advertised. 1-1.5 usually doesn't require a camber kit.
