I know these are 5 way adjustable so what does everyone have theirs set to for front and rear with 5 being the stiffest?

this works wonders.....

set the front for as stiff as they can and the back at a little less (this makes ur car handle WAY better)(understeer or oversteer i forgot) to much stiffness in the back makes the car handle like shit and the rear end more likely to slide out

thats how it is on my car anyway, whatever floats ur boat (try it though)

3/3 on the street. I should change the rears to 2.

1 on the fronts and 2 on the rears.

fronts = 2
rears = 3

i have mine at front-2 and rear -5

before 1 and 2 suck all around 3 all around is like non adjustable tokicos. i tried 4 all around and it was cool, then 5 all around was cool for short trips around and about. now its back at 4 all around.

We have ours set at 5 because 1. the roads around here are shitty and the car is dropped so much. 2. i like a stiff ride (no stupid comments please. I mean the car:))

4 - rear

3 front 5 rear, with yokohama street tires.. i'm pullin a 1.07 skidpad, up from 1.01 w/out the shocks

Great shocks..!

My rear tires are cupped (different wear from tread block to tread block, radially) pretty badly.

I asked John Mueller from RRE about this. He said this can be caused by weak or blown shocks, or not rotating the tires. Seems that since there is less weight on the back end of a FWD, the wheels are more prone to bouncing, which can set up the conditions for cupping. He said setting my rear shocks higher should help a bit.

I was a bad owner and didn't rotate my wheels like I should have. If yuo think BridgeStone RE730's are loud as is, you should hear them when they are cupped...

Once this happens, there is little you can do. The pattern will generally continue. The only proper solution is to get new tires. I will try stiffening up the rear shocks, so at least the problem doesn't get too much worse.

How about your Toe in/out measurement Juan? I had the same cuping problem while on progress springs/ Potenza 730, and that was from a lack of alignment. The car sounded like a tank from within, the loud hollow thumbing...it was madness. :P

Toe at front was I believe 1/8" toe out (better turning), with rears at zero toe. That is assuming the place I had it done did it correctly...

I think the thing that really killed em was not rotating the tires regularly. Lesson to everone else, don't be as lazy as me! ;)

I'm gonna rotate the tires soon, so hopefully the RE730's will get killed off and I can swap in a new set of tires. With the greater sound insulation on the front half of the car, hopefully it won't be quite as obnoxious.
