18813, brake pads and lines Q...
Posted by DSMkarz, Jul-09-03 04:22 PM
I got home from work the other day and my wife told me the wheels sound funny and to go check it out. What it was is the front brakes going:-( Right now I cant afford a big brake kit but want an upgrade. I think I might buy new stock rotors and just get good pads. The question is what is the best pad for the buck and what should I look at spending. I would also like to replace the rubber brake lines w/ stainless lines, what brands are good cause even when the car was fairly new they would pulse.

I dont want to spend a crap load cause AEM's will(hopefully) be on next year. Damn hospital bills but jr. is worth every cent:thumbsup

i think the pads ran me ~60 bucks. and that's the sinsei evo front bumper...i took the pic kinda late last night, so it's hard to see anything.

here's a better pic...once the i put the fog lights in, it'll look way better:

O.k. guys I'm biting the bullit and starting a 2nd job after the shoot out. Of corse Im starting the job to get the money for the Big Brake kit from AEM. I think I'll go with the green pads too they seem to be pretty good from what I read on Mach5. The job will also with some other car issues. thanx for the help guys:-)

Damn are those prices for real and RoadRaceEngineering or is there a catch too it? is that the hole kit for the AEMs or is that just rotors? They will save me about 300bucks! And they said 17" wheels for the AWD wil my O.Z. 16's work with this kit? I dont want to run my 18's in the winter.
