Like it says at speeds of 70+ my car will try to wiggle all over and even start to shack a little. It feels real light. I am not sure why and it does it regard less of tire size and rim size. Any 1 know why or how to fix it. suggestions. My susspension is all stock.

maybe you need an alignment or your rims arnt balanced right...

I was actually wondering this too. Mine only does it on certain roads but it's scary as fuck. I really need to get these coilovers off my stock struts and get a real suspension. I believe my rear is too low in is just flying all over the place.

If the wheels toe outward, it'll make the car feel more unstable the faster you go. It'll want to turn itself and you gotta fight the steering wheel to keep it centered. If that's your case, definately go get an alignment.

alignment/new tires/spin balance

any of these could be the problem. my car did this and i got new tires and the thing rides so smooth now. i think it also depends on the letter rating of your tires. i had Z and now have H and the thing rides so much better

Faucher were your rear tires bald as slicks or something?

our powersteering goes off of engine rpm's, so next time your floatin on the freeway put in the clutch and put it in neutral, your steering should be tight again. high rpm's make our ps looser.

thats one think i dont like about dsm's....the crappy powersteering design.

An UDP helps with that :thumbsup.

Actually, it's the other way around. Power assist reduces as the RPMs are brought up. Try launching the car, and turning while at a high RPM in 1st. You'll damned near break your arms. Go ahead. Ask me how I know.

Well, I was going to Denny's late one night... (ever notice all really cool stories start like that?) ...or maybe it was early morning. I was at a red light, with a car full of people, and I hafta take a left. So, being the smart one that I am, I rev it up to about 4500 to launch. Light turns green, and I drop the hammer. When I go to turn the wheel, I put most of my weight into it. Big mistake. I think that my left arm landed on the center console after it fell off.

Live and learn.

about the topic, i would get an alignment. my car was reeeeaaally scary to drive, ESPECIALLY in the rain before i had a good alignment. that would be my first guess.
