18735, Which springs and shocks to buy Posted by Twiste, Jul-05-03 01:19 PM
Im going to buy the Eibach Prokits already but I need to know a good shock that compliments them really well. I dont want to go over $500 total with springs and shocks and I dont want to have to adjust my camber at all...so something that will keep my drop around 1.2-1.3 in. TIA!

If you put aftermarket springs on without replacing the shocks, the stock shocks will blow real quick and you'll have one hell of a bouncy ride. Most people like to do both at the same time since it's basically the same install process. Kill 2 birds with one stone.
I have prokits in my room right now collecting dust while I wait for my new shocks. Still haven't decided which ones to get yet. Not my biggest priority atm (damn bills!) __________ Chris 96 ESI 5 spd Milwaukee, WI

How are KYB GR2s? I found them for $50 each and I found the Prokits for $200. Anyone know how good GR2s are? What about Tokico HPs? Found those for $218 for 4.

I like the Tokico Illumnias. They were a bit expensive, but it was worth it in the end. We also have ground control coilovers on the illumnias.
