18481, Alignments after changing wheels and tires Posted by jnam27, Jun-18-03 10:39 AM
Hey, guys!
I lowered my car recently with Prokit and Tokico, and I am gonna change my wheels to 18 inches soon. I did alignment done a few day ago. My question is Do I need to get the alignment done again after installing new wheels with 225/40/18 tires? Thanks in advance.

i would say yes. since you are going to different size tires and wheels, you'd probably have to. later

The size of the tire and rim wouldn't effect the camber. It wouldn't hurt to get an alignment done, but it isn't necessary:thumbsup

no you don't need to get an alignment but also realize that the best time to align your car is when you get brand new tires because they're not worn they won't throw the alignment rack off.
