18293, Removing the Front Hub Assembly Posted by roy, Jun-10-03 09:50 AM
I need to replace the front drivers-side hub assembly on my car, I removed the four bolts holding the hub to the steering knuckle, but no matter what I try it won't budge.
I'm sure taking off the whole steering kuckle would make it a lot easier...but I want to do this without removing the knuckle from the car.
anyway, if anyone has any ideas let me know.
Thanks Roy

So.. u have the axle out Im guessing. I beat on mine w/ a hammer from the back. Might not look like its doing anything at first but just keep beating and spraying wd-40 around the edges. I also used a small screwdriver and pryed into the front side to let the wd-40 get to where it was needed.
