17741, Tax returns...suspension time :) Posted by CoprEklipz, May-15-03 05:25 PM
OK guys, it's time to do my suspension. I've got between 400 and 600 to spend...so here's what I want to know. What to buy???
I really like the tokico illuminas and have heard nothing but good things about them, so I'll probably do those. Now for the tricky part: springs. I decided to stick to springs, so please help me pick out a pair. I DO NOT WANT TO GET A CAMBER KIT, so use that as a guideline. I've heard I can drop as far as 1.5" without camber...I hope that's true. Name me your picks...and why, also, how far they drop. Pics are GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thanks, shopping will be done tomorrow, so hurry up! just kidding...TIA!

well i got the tokico suspension package w/blues and tokico springs for $370 from optauto.com. they have them with illuminas for around $600 i think. you are gonna nead a rear camber kit for pretty much any drop. im on 1.5 and i got away with no front kit

Ok guys, step one complete...Tokico Illuminas on order...388 shipped, brand new! Now for springs :)...what's everyone think? F*ck it, I'm gonna make a poll...please vote...and give reasons why!
Also, I need to know about camber kits as well. What kits are best, is it worth getting front and rear or is the 15 camber mod the same thing? Also, how hard is it to install all this schtuff, and what will I need?
Aside from the illuminas, a set of drop springs, and a camber kit, what else am I gonna need? I'm riding stock now btw :) Thanks guys!!!
