17622, What's the correct tire size for 18x8" wheels?

All I could find searching was 225/40/18 for 18x7.5" ones. What's the correct tire size for 18x8" wheels?

Does anyone have any pics of 18's not lowered? I have to rebuild my head (I have a blow gasket) before I can get springs, shocks, and camber kits.

i have 18x7.5 with 235/40/18 tires. if you get 18x8, get 235/40/18..but you have to get teh right offset like +41,+40,+39 etc. i have a +42 on mine and i had to get 3mm spacers in teh rear so the tire would not hit the control arm. it was barely rubbing but a 40 offset should be just fine

Your tach and Odom will be closest to correct w/ 225/40/18's.

They are +40 offset, I'll get the 225/40/18, could I still use the eibach sportlines w/o rubbing the control arm or fenders?

you should not have a problem. as for the speedo and odom being off. put it this way. with my old tires, at 7300 rpm in 5th, top speed was 168, with my new tires, top speed is 172. SO, you speedo will not be off enough to make a difference. i have a program that lets you enter in 2 tire sizes and tells you how fast you will eb going in each gear at 1k rpm intervals. thats how i know it wont make a difference. 225 you should be fine, no propbs
