I just ordered a set of GSX fronts with pads, brackets, rotors, dust shields, everything. I have already converted my rear drums to discs. I know the master cylinder/brake booster is an upgrade. I was just wondering if anything has to be done with the proportioning valve, or are they all the same? I would think with there being a greater surface area in the front(2 pistons vs 1), that it would require more fluid or the rears would have a tendency to lock up under hard braking. I can already lock my brakes up at will, but I'd like to keep it "at will" and not when I try to brake.
