I had a few questions about brakes. First, is it very hard to convert the rear drums to disks? Is there some kind of write up on it? Second, are the GSX brakes (stock of course) bigger than the RS brakes? Will they fit on the RS with stock wheels? Or should she just get the big brakes? Thanks in advance.:7

First of all, try the search. There is plenty of info on GSX brakes on here.

Rear drums are fairly easy to convert to discs. Its just getting all the parts you need and modifying the e-brake cable a bit.

GSX front brakes are bigger and better than RS/GS/GS-T brakes. The rear discs are the same. GSX calipers will not fit under the 14" RS wheels, you need at least 16" wheels. Big brakes are unnecessary IMO, you can either upgrade your stock brakes, or even stock GSX brakes are awesome.

I did the GSX Brake upgrade with new slotted/drilled rotors from raceconcepts.net and I will never go back! the increase in braking power is definantly noticeable. Go for it!
