16999, Can I/should I lower now? Posted by woo2gnt97, Apr-12-03 08:07 AM
I have: Goldline springs 2'' drop and tokico blues. I don't have: Ingalls front camber kit *yet*
I ordered it yesterday and should be recieving it in a few days. I probaly won't have time to work on this again for another 2 weeks and its a really nice day out today.
Was wondering if I could install the springs and struts now w/ a rear camber mod and be ok for a week or two before I put the front camber on. I'd imagine that the camber would be screwed and cause uneven wear for these few weeks but I won't be driving much.
Please give me your suggestion - I'd really like to get it done today but if it will screw up my car, I don't want to. Also, would I want an alignment now? or after the front camber?

In short: YES
You might not even need a camber kit for the front. Just make sure you get the whole thing aligned after the drop!:thumbsup
