i just installed my sportlines today. the front seems fine but the rear is making a decent amount of noise when i hit small to med potholes. nice and quiet when the road is flat. the drivers side seems to be making more noise than the passenger side. any ideas? i think everything is tight because my buddy was tightening them up and he is no wimp. i had to call eibach because the spring wasnt tight with in the pirch after i decompressed it but he said that a little play would be normal in the rears. what could it be? any ideas to fix the play, that may be it. to everyone that has the sportline drop, does yours make the same amount of noise or is it just me. tia!

BUMP. please i need help with this. the noise is getting worse.

The play in the springs is normal. Drop springs are shorter than stockers. As far as the sound goes, can you describe it? When you change your springs it is fairly typical to have some adnormal sounds. Its just the springs rotating a bit and getting settled in the strut assembly. Is it like a screech, or just a squeak? If it persists you might have to take it apart again and give it a look-see. Your spring might have rotated too far in the assembly, or maybe something is not tight.

it is kinda like a clanky sound. metal to metal. as far as it being tight, there are only 3 things that could be loose and they are all tight. since it is in the rear, there is not much that can go wrong. the fronts a quiet as a mouse which is why i find it strange. the fronts have more to em so i figured those were the ones i would have to take apart because something would be messed up. thanks for your suggestions. anyone have any more?

there is also some squeaking. i think it is only coming from the driver side though. TIA
