16481, How good are Eibach pro springs Posted by mitifto, Mar-18-03 09:11 AM
Just added some rims to my ride and now I need springs. Are Eibach pro springs good and do I need to get shocks also or should the shocks in my car right now work. Thanx

from what i understand, not speaking from experience though, those springs are good quality. i also think that you can lower your car on the stock shocks and they should be fine for a while, but it will wear them out faster and you will eventually have to upgrade. what i am doing is lowering my car on the stock shocks for a couple weeks until i can get some better ones.

If you're going to put in springs, might as well put in shocks. No point in taking your struts off two times.
I have eibach pro-kits with tokico illuminas. IMO, greatest setup for our cars. I have no problems tearing through sharp turns. Good drop and ride isn't too harsh either.

I love my prokits...not too extreme of a drop but enough to give an aggressive stance...my stockers lasted about 8 months before i blew the front right...put tokico blues on and like em so far...also look into the $15 rear camber mod...Hope that helps...

worst mistake I ever made- going from sportlines and stock strusts after stock suspension to pro kit with stock struts. then going illuminas. Get the pro kit and the tokico illuminas or blues (hp series). Badass setup.

I wasn't clear either- I have had my suspension out 3 times. Get the struts too and do it all 1 time. :thumbsup
