16443, Time for new pads & rotors..... Posted by thegame, Mar-17-03 03:26 AM
Well..... my brakes are now starting to squeel and I guess that means it time to buy some new pads. So I mise well get some rotors while Im at it.
I found some Brembo cross drilled/slotted zinc coated rotors for 90 bucks. These any good? Should I go ahead and get them?
What pads would you suggest? I found some metal master pads. These any good? Should I get them? 40 bucks for the semi-metallic low dust, and 45 bucks for the ultimate ceramic pads. Which one of these are better? Which one lasts longer? Which one has less brake dust?
Let me know.... Thanks.

Brembo is a good name I would trust.
A lot have the metal masters and love them.
I have a set of KVR cross drilled rotors and Carbon fiber pads, I lovethem they stop beatifully and they do not warp. I've bat on them a few times and no fade or warping, I'm very impressed with them.
