16429, What struts to go with? Posted by 97_ESi, Mar-16-03 03:12 PM
Well since I went lowered on my stock struts, they blew...hahaha big surprise. So now I gotta decide what I want to get...
Lowered on H&R springs right now so I need something that:
1. Will last awhile (more than a year for sure! the longer the better - like 5 years or longer!)
2. Gives good ride on a lowered car.
3. Something that won't break the bank - not the least expensive...but a good strut for cheaper.
I don't need some crazy adjustable strut so thats not a big deal.
Any ideas what strut I should go with?
Thanks, Mike.

I got the Tokico HP struts off of ebay for 270 to my house. I think they are great. Not bouncey, and I've heard lots of bad things about the gr2's.
