Hey guys -- trying to get some stuff online for the eclipse -- used car-part.com and they show for the rear upper control arms that we have the samea as a Galant, Avenger -- and a few others -- is this right?

not sure about the gallant, but im pretty certain the avenger has the same suspension setup as us.. and i think that would be it.

yes galant rear upper arms will fit as will the hub cuz I found one in a junkyard once and I took em cuz I thought I might need em. Heh and what do you know I found out I twisted the arm during wreck so replaced em when i installed my rear camber adjusters. The galant ones are slightly different, they have a tubular design rather than the sheets of folded metal welded together look. I'll post a picture when i get home.

That piece looks a lot beefier than ours.

The front suspension pieces from the Galant won't fit?

Sorry to ask such a newbie question -- but what bushings are up there?? I don't see anything where there would be some bushings. Thanks for the picture though man -- judging from that -- the install should be very easy.

yes there were bushings in it, the parts where the camber adjusters go there are rubber bushings there. Yep it does looks better it caught my eye when I saw it at the yard hehe, I think galants use 3G-like suspension but don't quote me on that.

The galant had some pretty flimsy looking lower arms though they were just thin tubes.

I don't know if front galant suspension would fit our cars but I think so. This was from a newer galant also like 2000 or something.

i definitely know avanger, eclipse, talon are all mostly if not all the same. and im pretty sure sebring does also. im about to get the rear disc conversion but i need someone to tell me if it is definitely the same?

The sebring coupe from the same years is the same car as the avenger.
