Engine cradle? Is that what they are calling the lower cross member? I would go to a junkyard, and scrounge a lower crossmember (the lower piece of metal under the engine) and that lateral link from a car where the front end isn't wrecked. It would be far cheaper than paying the dealership for new parts and installation! (but then, this is coming from a person who has helped remove and install trannies, so I don't know how likely you would be willing to do this)

All you need is a breaker bar/jack/stands/sockets and wrenches (ya know, all the stuff any person's garage should have lying around)

I drove it into one of the bays at work.
I didnt see anything thats bent.
I did look at the cross member(it looked normal), but something else i noticed was there was a cross member lookin bar going from the back to the front(firewall to bumper basically). Had a tag on it saying it was ordered on 4/02/02, that just happens to be about 1 month before i bought it. Is this on everyones car? This also just makes me believe even more so that it was wrecked pretty badly once, and that the dealership knew about it.

And i didnt know where/what the right lateral link is.

I have all those tools and use them often, i just dont wanna mess with it when i dont know wtf im doing.
