15600, Wheel cap help Posted by Erik, Feb-10-03 11:31 AM
I own a set of team loco wheels (got for free). The only prob I have is that one cap was missing from the wheel. Well today I got to looking for people who carry the line of wheels and called a place the quoted me $45 + $15 for shipping for ONE CENTER CAP! I don't know if I'm cheap or what, but is that a tad high for a wheel cap? Does anybody know if some wheels share the same diameter and I could just get a set of 4 that are just plain back or something?

look at it this way. if you pay $45 for the center cap, you are essentially getting 4 rims with center caps for $45, since you got the rims free. I'd be happy as hell. I thought I got a good deal and I paid $500 for barely used rims with tires (and center caps, lugs)
you are still coming out way ahead...

good point, but I'm not a real big fan of the center caps now and was hoping to get something simple instead of the carbon fiber ones that are on there.
