Alright recommendations are in order here(or any other suggestions, input, or mindless babble for that matter), illuminas or koni yellows? (Or something else?) I have Goldline springs; 1.75" drop, and I want the best ride possible. Quick responses are appreciated since i gotta get them tomorrow. TIA you guys, y'all kick ass.

Sux when you want opinions but they aren't available.;( But I have a question, how do you know you blew a strut? I ask cause today I began to hear weird noises from the front pass side. Like a bed spring noice, more when I am driving and make turns. On the highway it's quiet. Not funny afterwars I park and try to look under to see if I see anything but instead when I turn the wheel I see a 10mm screw in the tire thread. :o Sux since the tires are 2 months old. Anyways. TIA.

well my struts were already shit when i installed my springs, but i began getting the same noise you are describing just the other night. I changed my power steering but that didn't help. So I jacked up the car cause I thought it might be a wheel bearing or the cv joint but both were in great condition. After hours of trying to determine the prob my mechanic friend and I decided that it had to just be the strut. I'm gonna replace my struts and do an alignment to see if that does it. I'll tell you if that helps

Also I could still use some suggestions, I was just joking in that last post, I'm not gonna buy until I have some more info.

tokico blues, little pricey depending on where you get them, but worth every penny

I don't know what it really is. I will have my mechanic check it out Wed. The way things go wrong with me I am setting up for the worst.:rolleyes I am leaning toward the Tokico Illuminas with an Eibach Pro kit. I don't care for a scrape-low look just something nice and that it will hold. I have a question. When do you really need adjustable struts?

blues are pricey? blues are the ghetto model. tokico's illuminas are the expensive ones.

most people have blown struts anyways. they just realize it when they lower the car.

sounds like it's koni time. i'd get the koni yellows. they rules. in my opinion anyway.

sucks. if it's in the tread than it's an easy patch. try going to NTB or sears. they patch from the inside. they're the only ones that will warranty a flat repair. tells you something.

not exactly sure what your suspension problem is. sounds more like wheel bearing or ball joint. blown struts usually leak fluid. you should see a dark wet spot on the strut. prolly gathered dirt over time. also if your ride gets uncomfortable, i always say to bouncy to describe it but most people say to firm bottom line is if it hurts your ass to much.

For non-adjustables, go with the Tokico blues. For adjustables, the Tokico Illuminas or Koni yellows are both great choices. However, the Illuminas can be set to a lower level than the yellows so it can have the softest ride. In addition, the yellows are so damn expensive!
