No, this part would have to be replaced regardless if you are dropped or not.

I just got the recall done yeaterday and I have sportline's on mine and they didnt say one word about being dropped. I was really expectiong a phone call from them. Everytine the phone rang I was ready to start screaming but it wasnt a problem.

I drove in scrapping the ground and only got compliments from the mechanics at dodge for how my car looked, no one bitched, it all depends on the dealer, if they try to be a dick sure they can give you some crap about how you lowering it caused ball joint problems blah blah blah

i went to my mitsu dealer and asked if my car had the balljoint recall done and they were looking it up on the computer and while the page was loading the guy was like "if your car is lowered we have to charge you $40 to replace them because it's lowered and it's harder..and i was like "it's not lowered" but luckily the owner before me already did the balljoint recall and stuff.

haha... hes full of shit. The dealer gets paid by Mitsubishi a certain amount for labor and materials. I don't remember what the exact figure is but its way more than it actually takes so the dealer actually makes money by doing the recall.
