Hey guys,
I have a little problem with (I guess it's called) the hub assembly for the driver's side. It's the part where the brake disk is attached to. The problem is that there is little play about it's verticle axis, so it moves a little from left to right. I thought it would have been the bearing, but it only has play from left to right. Any suggestions? Some guy at an alignment shop said that the "inner socket" needed to be replaced. I was like... "inner socket?" I never heard of it. Anyways.. thanks for reading.

When I'm going at around 40+mph, and I make hard right hand turn, I can feel it vibrate (at a low frequency).
When I'm going @ around 5mph, sometimes you can feel as though it is grinding (the hub, or whatever it is).

Sounds like a wheel bearing. The way that our cars are setup, though, you need to replace the hub and bearing at the same time. No biggie, just a pain in the butt because it can be tough to get the axle out of there. Also, it can be tough to get the enormous axle nut off. It's torques to 215 lb/ft from the factory, and requires a 32MM socket. Lastly, the part is a bit expensive. I don't know the price off hand, but it's not cheap.
