14313, Suspension differences between GST and GSX
Posted by a_miller_76, Dec-17-02 11:49 PM

Okay, I know that the non turbos (RS, GS) will have the same suspension set-up as the turbos (GST)....Are the GST's the same as the GSX's? I don't think they are, and logically they can't be. I just wanna make sure.

I have 2 friends. I'm RS, 1 friend is GST, the other is GSX. The GST guy has a set of pro-kits and Tokico blues that he wants to sell for $100 (yes they're fine). The guy with the GSX wants them, but I told the GST guy they won't fit. I don't want to sound like I'm lying to get him to sell them to me rather than the GSX guy, especially since they've been friends longer and I'm sorta the new guy. But I'm almost positive they won't fit.

Am I right?

Yea, the suspension is a little different. GSX prokits sit lower then GST/GS/RS springs. They look pretty much the same, and i've been told that they WOULD fit, but that's a risk the other guy is willing to take.

yeah its possible that the springs would work, but the struts will not.. at least in the back. the front suspension is the same from rs,gs,gst,gsx.. but the rear on the gsx is different.
