13683, brake's sound wierd Posted by KSeclipse, Nov-24-02 01:55 PM
I've recently had new pads and rotors put on my car and now if i'm creeping slowly i hear my brakes rubbing inconsistently like they're warped. Also sometimes when i'm stopping it sounds like grinding hard metal on metal and clicking and stuff. I am definately a newbie to checking this stuff out so could someone tell me what to do as far as checking this out. LIke jack up the car, take wheel off, then what and what should i look for?

SOunds like your pads are worn..check for wear on them before your rotors get jacked up then you'll have to resurface them Alvin

Did you have a shop do the change? they should check that out for you if you recently had the work done.
